Episode 2: Here Come Chemo^© and Rad.^© Gaining a little knowledge about the cancer and the treatments used, Tim found he had to create new characters to represent the chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Antibodies alone would not be enough to make his Nana well. Thus were born "Chemo^©" and "Rad^©."

Also in this episode, Tim began the use of "inside" jokes. The line uttered by Chemo^©, "By the power vested in me by the State of Maine, begone!" is a play on the line a minister uses in a wedding. Also, the "Call me Dr. Bob" comment refers to the name my dad was called in his last parish in Los Angeles.
