Episode 8: Rad^© Returns. This is another milestone episode. For the first time (since episode 3), Tim gave the episode a title and wrote it on the sheet (upper right corner). He also tied together many past episodes while bringing back one of the initial characters, Rad,^© with new duties. Finally, the "split" panel is used for the first time.

Rad^© checked the mail and it delivered "X" and "Ray," the two cats that provided the CAT scan used to determine Nana’s condition. Rad^© thus expanded his role from just bombarding the patient with radiation to kill the cancer to one of reconnaissance.

Meanwhile, the characters’ identities and relationships show through, making them more "real" than before. The joy shown at the return of Rad^© is expressed in a such a way that it is shared by the reader.
